Overview:
Faculty:
The college has qualified and experienced teaching faculty. Extra lectures
and coaching is conducted in the College for the benefit of the students.
Laboratories:
The college has well equipped Computer, Electronic, Mechanical, Electrical civil
and other laboratories with modern equipment for all courses conducted in college
and students derive the benefit of hands-on- experience.
Internet Center:
The college has well equipped Internet Center to fulfill the needs of
the students. The Internet facility is provided to student between 08.00 am to 05.00
pm (Monday to Friday) and 08.00 am to 02.00 pm (Saturday)
College Library:
The college Library is the main center for students to carry out their scholastic
activities and hence utmost care is taken care is taken to keep it open for maximum
number of days and hours. The Reading Hall will observe the following timing: Monday
to Friday : 08.00 am to 05.00 pm. Saturday : 08.00 am to 02.00 pm.
Identity & Library Card
College Library issues identity and library cards to the bonafide
students of the college. Soon after the admission a student is expected to submit
his/her original fee receipt to the library along with recent passport size photograph.
Any delay on the part of the student in obtaining Identity card is liable to be
fined. Students should bear in mind that Identity Card is an important document
and they are expected to take utmost care in preserving it in good condition and
protecting it against any loss or misuse. Students should always keep their Identity
card with them and should produce it whenever any authority of the college demands
it. Failure to carry Identity card is liable for fine. All the entries in the Identity
card will be filled in by the library staff. Students are not expected to write
anything on it. In the case of loss of Identity card, a duplicate Identity card
is issued to the student on written application and payment of a fine of Rs. 100/-.
Identity card is not transferable and any misuse of Identity card will be strictly
dealt with. Identity card is issued entirely at the risk of the Identity cardholder.
Identity card should be preserved even during the vacation.
Behavior in the library and reading hall
Admission in the library is strictly on producing of Identity card on
demand. In the Reading hall students are expected to study by oneself. Any kind
of discussion is forbidden. Student should not spoil the college furniture by writing
on it or spilling ink or otherwise.
Hostel Facility
The college has the hostel facility for the boys and girls on the campus. The hostel
accommodation is offered to the students on first come first serve basis. National
Service Scheme (NSS) Very soon college will start National Service Scheme (NSS)
in the college. Any student can enroll in NSS and work of 120 hours has been prescribed.

Co-Curricular activities
The college has the Students branch of Institute of Electrical and Electronics
Engineer (IEEE) and the students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering
take the benefit of the activity. Also, for the benefit of Mechanical Engineering
students, there is Mechanical Engineering Students Association (MESA) and for the
benefit of Computer Engineering students there is Association of Computer Engineering
(ACE). Under these activities students successfully organizes intercollegiate competition
like TRIQUEST, PHOENIX and DIGITAL RENAISSANCE
Picnics
Educational trips will be organize by the college officially. No private picnics
are permitted and students shall not go for picnics without the written permission
of the Principal.
College Gymkhana
The college gymkhana provides coaching for various games such as cricket,
football, basketball, volleyball, badminton and many other indoor games and physical
training. Students are encouraged to attain sportsman’s spirit by their activities
on the playground. Strict discipline is expected to be maintain on the ground and
in the gymnasium. The details of intercollegiate tournaments and others shall be
displayed on the notice board from time to time.
Parking
Parking space is provided for parking of Two Wheelers vehicles and students
should park their vehicles at their own risk. Vehicles parked elsewhere are likely
to be confiscated and the owner likely to be fined. There is no facility for parking
of four wheelers in the college premises and hence students are not allowed to bring
Four Wheelers .
Vacation Concession
Students whose permanent place of residence (Home Town) is other than Pune City
are held eligible for visiting such places during vacation only by available Bus
concession, Rail concession or Air concession as the case may be. For this purpose
the students should fill in the requisite form at the time of vacation.
Banking
Medical Check up and Medical facilities
All the F.E. students and hostilities will have to compulsary undergo
medical check up as per the University directive. The schedule of the medical check-up
is notified after the commencement of the first term. The college authorities have
also made available the services of the Honorary Medical Officer who shall be available
on the premises between 01.00 pm to 05.00 pm on every Tuesday and Friday.
Canteen
The college ness and canteen have facilities for the students and staff
members of five institutions on the Wadia College Campus. Student therefore should
carefully note the following.
i. The Canteen Hall shall be used only for the breakfast, lunch and
such timings as notified.
ii. Atmosphere in the Canteen Hall should remain peaceful and quiet.
iii. Outsiders shall not be permitted in the Canteen. iv. Crowding at Canteen
Hall should be avoided.
College Magazine
This year college published its annual magazine in the Compact Disk (CD) format
called QUASAR 2005. Students are encouraged to contribute their articles, poems,
and essays, in the same. The activities of the college along with the Photographs
and Live walk thru’ is included in this CD magazine.
