General Information |
* The Earn and Learn Scheme of Board of
Students Welfare, University of Pune is being implemented successfully for the
needy students from the academic year 2009-10. Students are benefited from this
Scheme by working in the Laboratories and Library. Students are paid @ Rs. 40/-
per hour. Rs. 20/ -being contributed by the College so as to meet their monthly
expenses. This Scheme also inculcate a sense of responsibility and dignity.
* Expert Lecturers for the first year students are
arranged under the Special Guidance Scheme of Board of Students Welfare,
University of Pune.
* Hostel Facilities
M.E. Society has provided the hostel facility
for boys and girls in Wadia college campus. The hostel accommodation is provided
to the students on first come first serve basis on Merit. Limited seats are
reserved for the girls from each college in campus.
* Identity Card
Student should fill in the prescribed
form as soon as the fees are paid in the college office for obtaining I-Card.
There is no separate Library Card being issued to the students. Students can
borrow books on Identity Card. It is mandatory that the students should wear the
I-card around the neck, failing which they may not be permitted to enter into
the College Premises.
* Medical Checkup
All F.E. students and hostelites have
to undergo compulsory medical checkup as per the university directive. The
schedule of medical check-up is notified after the commencement of the first
term. The services of the medical officer are available in the college campus.
* Bank, ATM and Post Office
Bank of Baroda's extension counter, ATM
and Post Office are located in the campus.
* Parking
Parking space is provided for two
wheeler vehicles and students should park their vehicles at designated places
only. Parking is a paid service on owner's risk. Vehicles parked else where are
likely to be confiscated and owner likely to be fined. Parking for four wheeler
of the student is not permitted in the College Campus and hence students are not
allowed to bring four wheelers in the college campus
* Gymkhana and Sports
The games and sports are integral part
of education. Participation in games at the end of the day's hard work will
bring back our lost energy, afford us relaxation and banish our boredom. MESCOE
provides sufficient time and facilities for sports and gymnasium. It fosters a
spirit of team building and bonding between the trainees besides enabling them
to learn the importance of the right work relaxation balance in life and career.
* Barrier Free Environment
Barrier free environment facilities are
available in the college campus for physically handicapped and disabled persons. |
